SAMUEL E. WIGGINS, III    Lead Counsel               
Wiggins is a native of Birmingham, Alabama.  After graduation from John Carroll Catholic High School, he joined the Alabama Air National Guard as a reservist and served until 1994.    He attended Lawson State Community College and Talladega College where he graduated with a B. A. in Business Administration.  He received his Juris Doctorate degree in May 1992 from The University of Alabama School of Law.   In September 1992, he was admitted to the Alabama State Bar and became an Associate Attorney with Jones & Davis, PC.  Subsequently, he was appointed Deputy Attorney General for the State of Alabama for property procurement.  He began private practice in 1994 and later formed the partnership, Wiggins & Davis, LLC (unrelated).  In 2004, Wiggins Law Firm, LLC was formed.
            
Wiggins is engaged in a civil law practice with emphasis in litigation, real estate, personal injury, business, and corporate law.  He is a member of the Alabama State Bar and the Magic City Bar Association.   In 2010, Wiggins Law Firm was named Finalist in the Best in Minority Business Awards by the public and Cox Radio.  

Community Service

Sam has lent his time and expertise to the Miles College School of Law.  He has taught first year law students the fundamentals of legal research and writing.

He is Past President of Huffman Recreation Board and a coach of the Huffman Park’s youth football and baseball leagues, which serve 300-400 boys and girls each season.

In 2002, Sam offered himself to serve the people in public office.  In his run for Representative of the 7th Congressional District, Sam maintained a clean campaign and garnered a surprising 11% of people’s vote in a race plagued with unprecedented mudslinging.  

Sam works as a servant of the people and the leadership of his local church. Since 1994 he has served as a personal aide to his pastors.  He also serves as a  mentor and teacher of the youth and young adults of his local church.
